It is amazing, but absolutely anyone can purchase internet domain. A new born baby can buy one if someone will send in the money for it. Even someone that doesn’t actually exist can purchase internet domain. If you don’t believe me just search for one of the many companies that sales internet domains and try to buy one with a fake name. They will happily sell you one. You can put almost anything on the domain that you want. If you get stupid enough to put something illegal there sooner or latter the cops will find you and fine you or put you in jail and make the stuff you put there go away though.
