Once I was talking to this guy at a political rally. The rally had something to do about the environment. He started talking about computer viruses, and said that a computer virus is like a capitalist who sneaks into nature and tries to destroy it for personal gain. And he said that the environmentalists are like the spyware adware removal tools, that protect the environment. I asked him what he did for a living, and unsurprisingly, he said he was a software engineer. I asked him if he described everything in computer software metaphors, and he said that’s exactly why he can’t find a girlfriend. Go figure.
