One time whilst performing in a theatre to around 500 people, I had a line of volunteers waiting to be hypnotised. One by one I performed the ‘falling backwards induction’ and laid them on the stage floor. I instructed them that when they opened their eyes they would believe everything I said and would do everything I asked them to. So I continued by suggesting that when they did open their eyes their bodies would be glued tightly to the stage, and the more they tried to free themselves, the tighter they would stick. This can be regarded as an example of waking hypnosis (and there is a major secret in this towards the success of your show).
