I am really very hesitant to download any kind of software program that I find on the Internet, particularly those that are free.  Unfortunately, many of these programs also install spyware, malware and viruses to your system when you download the program.  I learned this first hand and have because very cautious.  When a friend of mine told me about Ares, the free program that drastically increases file download speeds, I did a lot of research before downloading it.  I found that is guaranteed to be virus free and contains no spyware or malware.  I read all kinds of testimonials from satisfied users before installing it.  I am now one of those happy users!
