As a business traveler who travels the world I have stayed in a lot of great places.  I have been lucky to blend business with pleasure and have been exposed to so much culture.  When a friend of mine wanted to travel to Australia I recommended some excellent hotels in Melbourne from which to choose.  Melbourne is really a great city, full of intimate little neighborhoods and fun restaurants and pubs.  It is probably one of my favorite cities to visit so I was so happy that I could give my friend some advice about such a magnificent city that has it all.

Bayona in north west Spain

Saturday, January 16th, 2010

Secure overnight stops are arranged in attractive ports where there are opportunities to visit places of interest and to enjoy the company of fellow participants and the locals at parties and other social functions. Crossing in June usually provides stable weather conditions in the infamous Bay of Biscay, while the northerly trade-winds should be firmly established, to give participants enjoyable coastal eastern mediterranean cruise in Portugal. The 2009 Rally Portugal starts from Mayflower Marina, Plymouth, on 31 May, crossing Biscay to Bayona in north west Spain and then following a cruising route of short legs down the coast of Portugal to the finish in Marina de Lagos three weeks later with the prize giving and final dinner scheduled for Wednesday 24th June.

Checking Out Surf Schools

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

I had so much fun checking out different surf schools. I know that it is not easy to find the best surf school. I wanted to look for one that is within my budget, and I found one in no time. I am so excited to start my surfing lessons. I am hoping to learn so much, and hopefully I will be able to beat my brother in surfing. I know that he practices a lot just to be very good in what he is doing. I am positive that I can be as good as him as long as I focus in my surfing lessons.

How To Win A Trip To Hollywood

Tuesday, January 12th, 2010

My daughter has always dreamed about going to Hollywood. She has been entering contests for over a year. We don’t have enough money to fly to California. I have looked into Los Angeles flights several times but it is too expensive. She understands and that is why she is trying to win a trip. She is a finalist for an amazing Hollywood adventure. We will find out if she is the winner in a few weeks. I hope that everything will turn out for the best. My daughter deserves to have all of her dreams come true. I hope that she wins the contest.

I guess it wouldn’t hurt

Friday, January 8th, 2010

Somehow while I was younger I picked up the idea that getting any kind of policy or coverage would ultimately jinx me. I guess that sounds stupid though everyone has some kind of irrational thoughts when it comes to themselves. Some use lucky charms and some throw salt over their shoulders, and many other odd things, so I am not so weird. Getting holiday insurance when I travel is not odd at all but not getting it might be. I would rather be safe then sorry, as my mom used to say. And can you tell I am getting older?

After working so long without a vacation, I would love to go somewhere that is very peaceful and relaxing.  Unfortunately, I always end up going somewhere local.  One of these days, I will take the vacation of my life.  I want to go to New Zealand, where they have the perfect aaccommodations.  The Wairarapa Holiday Homes are magnificent, and they are priced decently.  The place I want to go is in Masterson.  They have everything that I want in a vacation get-away.  My dream is to be there with a cup of coffee in my hand, watching the sun set.

Last Minute Luxury Rentals

Friday, January 8th, 2010

A friend of mine told me that if I could be flexible enough with my planning and scheduling at work with days off, then I could easily book a great vacation at the last minute. Have you ever had one of those days, weeks or months at work where you could barely get your head off of your desk? That has been me and I am willing to do anything to get away tomorrow. I see that luxury vacation rentals has some last minute deals and I am ready to throw in the towel at work and call in some much needed vacation time.

My First Party was a Success

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

I recently had a house built and had my first big party. I invited some friends that I have not seen in years. My house was gorgeous and I was really eager to show it off. I had been working all week to get everything set up perfectly for my big debut. There was only one problem, I was a terrible cook. Then, I remembered a fabulous seafood restaurants Rehoboth Beach that my mother had taken me to. I ordered several orders of appetizers and entrees and picked them up before the party. To say the least, my party was a big hit, thanks to the food.
