3G wireless connection of Verizon, available in Palm’s Pre Plus and Pixi Plus
Friday, January 29th, 2010Verizon Wireless could not get enough of sharing its connectivity to users all around the globe. It is only, mind you, the largest wireless data company in the industry today. Verizon has been known for providing 3G access to its users as well as collaborating with other companies to make wireless connections even in mobile, a quick and efficient task to do.
Recently, Verizon has teamed up with Palm, along with the introduction of Palm’s Pre Plus and Pixi Plus. Palm has innovated such applications in the mobile to enable users to connect to the internet as easy as just one click of a finger. Now where does Verizon enter here? In order to connect to the internet, Palm uses Verizon’s 3G connection.
With the use of this, Palm’s Pre plus and Pixi Plus can access the 3G connection, along with it, the device can also function as a MiFi router, enabling connection for up to 5 Wi-Fi enabled devices such as laptops, smartphones and iPods.
