I have never had bed bugs, but I have heard stories about them from my older family members.  They told me all about how hard they had to work to get rid of them back in the old days.  Well, the work for bed bugs getting rid of is still hard work.  The only difference is the more convenient tools we have to clean the house with than they had.  You have to wash all bedding and other washables (yes clothes too) and thoroughly vacuum every where you can in your home.  If a full cleaning does not get rid of bed bugs, you need to call in a professional.
