the Queen got a taste for pizza

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

Wherever pizza evolved from there is general consensus that the pizza we know today was developed and eaten by peasants in Naples Italy in the early 1800sThey created a dish of flattened dough that was topped with olive oil tomatoes and mozzarella cheese and soon the first pizza restaurant was opened in Naples in 1830At the time pizza was generally considered a peasant food and not appropriate to those of more royal or upper class standingsThis all changed in 1889  when Queen Margherita and King Umberto I toured the Italian kingdomWhile in Naples the Queen got a taste for pizza and summoned local pizza restaurant owner Raffaele Esposito to create a selection of pizzas for herAsking where pizza came from may seem like a simple questionAfter all its generally accepted that pizza originates from Italy but there are several theories as to where the original idea for pizza was actually developedSome say that pizza came from the Greeks who bought their plankuntos to Italy flat round bread that was baked with various toppingsOthers argue that pizza came from the pita bread of the Middle East while yet more say that it came from the unleavened matzo bread that Italian legionnaires bought to RomeYet another theory is that pizza evolved from foccacia bread a favourite snack that was eaten in Rome some 1000 years ago pizza

All is Fair in Love And Websites

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

Business is good. But if it weren’t for a cross town rival of my store, it could be much better. It seems they’re always right on my heels with a cheap imitation. Neither of us had a website, however, and I knew this was the way to trump them. I wanted to get the best deal for every part of the process because I knew eventually they would follow suit and want a website of their own. I found this website to be an incredible help in determining what company would best meet my webhosting needs. Now I’ve got the upper hand once again and they are still months behind. Thanks again for the reviews I needed to get my boost.

Excess electricity feeds

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

The “number of homes served” is just a convenient way to translate a quantity of electricity into a familiar term that people can understand. The school uses electricity from the utility at times when the wind does not blow all of the time, it cannot be the only power source for that many households without some form of storage system. Excess electricity fed into the local utility system earned the school $25,000 in its first five years of earth4energy review operation. Example: A 250-kW turbine installed at the elementary school in Spirit Lake, Iowa, provides an average of 350,000 kWh of electricity per year, more than is necessary for the 53,000-square-foot school. A 5-MW turbine can produce more than 15 million kWh in a year–enough to power more than 1 to 400 households.

Bio Solutions With Fuad El-Hibri

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

There is this company called emergent bio-solutions headed up by a man named Fuad El-Hibri.  I only know this because recently our professor talked all about him and his quest to see a lot of the problems of the world taken care of through medical practices.  He currently has a vaccine for anthrax poisoning.  He is obviously making a lot of money from this but he is also doing something great for the world.  I think that the talk about him was supposed to stir up some dreaming in us so that we would be motivated to do the same kinds of things.

The software my son sent to me

Friday, October 30th, 2009

For the past three years my son has been stationed over in Germany with the United States Army. One of the best things about him being over there is he is learning a bunch of skills that have to do with computer technology. When he graduated from high school my son, Ryan, didn’t have much in the way of direction. I think the Army is slowly giving him the direction that he needs. Just last week my son sent me some good dvd copy software. He actually included some instructions on how I should put it to use. This is the kind of software I like very much.

A Good Example

Friday, October 30th, 2009

When we go to church and watch the preacher with his wife, they are both about 85 years old, it is such a touching thing to see. They both get around pretty good but not as good as the rest of us. He definitely knows How To Talk To Women. They get along so good and both of them make for great examples!  When they get ready to leave the church he will walk out and get the car and pull it up to the door so she doesn’t have to walk out in the weather. Then when he gets into the parking lot gravel he will punch it and make the tires spin! He’s a hoot!

A Charming Tanger Riad

Friday, October 30th, 2009

I went to Tanger, Morocco with my business partners last month. It was a business trip and a vacation at the same time. It was the first time for all of us to visit Morocco. After the business conference, we took the time to enjoy the place. We went to different hotels and different tourist spots. Among all the places we have been to, it was one of the tanger riad that caught our attention. It looks like a palace, and it has a garden inside. It was a house, but it also looked like a hotel and restaurant. The place is mesmerizing. I want to visit Morocco some other time.

Bitdefender Review offers the most popular and powerful option available for antivirus software. Bitdefender is a very well known antivirus software with various awards from very prestigious organizations. You may want to take a look at this software even if you already have decent anti virus installed. This is because bitdefender is so much easier on your computer’s resources as compared to other antivirus programs. This combats effectively deals with problems that many antivirus software produce of excessive usage of the memory storage of your PC. Whether your aware of it or not, the resources on your computer are being used unnecessarily by software. This is one  of the reasons that one of the highest rated antivirus softwares by testers is bitdefender. Its use of system resources and memory, is overall much lower than that of some of the other well known products.

Friday, October 30th, 2009

I have been slacking off on my personal fitness for far too long.  I used to really work out hard and eat healthy, but when work got really busy I started seeing my good habits fall by the wayside.  I decided to get my life back on track, and when I found a great website that had some helpful tips for healthy living, it made all the difference for me.  I found some good tips for making healthful eating easy, even when you are on the go.  Another thing that really helped was the tips on getting enough rest.  Having good guidelines really helps.
